Welcome to our Radiology Services page. Our radiology department is equipped with a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine and staffed by experienced sonographers and medical professionals dedicated to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
Ultrasound is a safe and versatile imaging technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to create real-time images of the inside of the body, assisting in the diagnosis and monitoring of various medical conditions. Radiology Services

• Abdominal Ultrasound:


o Purpose: To visualize organs within the abdomen to assess for various conditions affecting the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, aorta, and other structures. Relevant for general internal medicine.

• Pelvic Ultrasound (Gynaecological):


o Purpose: To visualize the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and surrounding pelvic structures. Used to evaluate causes of pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, suspected fibroids, cysts, endometriosis, PCOS, and other pelvic masses. For gynaecology.

• Obstetric Ultrasound:


o Purpose: To monitor the health and development of the fetus during pregnancy, determine gestational age, assess fetal growth, and screen for potential abnormalities. For obstetrics.

• Small Parts Ultrasound:


o Purpose: To visualize superficial structures like the thyroid gland, parathyroid glands, breast tissue, scrotum/testicles, superficial masses, and lymph nodes to evaluate for nodules, masses, cysts, or other abnormalities. Relevant for endocrinology, general surgery.

• Musculoskeletal Ultrasound:


o Purpose: To image muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and soft tissues to diagnose sprains, strains, tears, inflammation, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Relevant for orthopaedics, sports medicine, rheumatology.

• Vascular Ultrasound (Doppler Ultrasound):


o Purpose: Uses sound waves to evaluate blood flow in arteries and veins, helping to diagnose conditions like deep vein thrombosis (DVT), varicose veins, and assess blood flow in other vessels. Relevant for vascular assessment.

• Pediatric Ultrasound:


o Purpose: Ultrasound imaging tailored for infants and children to evaluate various organs and systems. Relevant for paediatrics.

• Urological Ultrasound:


o Purpose: To visualize the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate gland (transabdominal), and testicles to evaluate for conditions such as kidney stones, hydronephrosis, bladder abnormalities, prostate enlargement, and testicular masses. For urology.
